Your rights under the GDPR.

Last updated: 9 October 2026. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) gives you several rights over the personal data you send us. You will find them below, together with how to exercise them.

Your rights

  • Right of access (Art. 15): you can find out whether we process data about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): you can ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): you can ask us to delete your data, except for data the law requires us to keep.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): you can ask us to stop using your data for a period, for example while we look into an objection of yours.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): you can receive your data in a commonly used format or ask us to send it to another controller.
  • Right to object (Art. 21): you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not profile you.

How to exercise your rights

Write to us at office@nemes-asociatii.ro or by post to our office at 2B Mărășești Blvd., Building C, Entrance 4, 1st Floor, Office 31, Bucharest, District 4. Tell us which right you want to exercise and where to send our reply.

We reply within one month of receiving your request. If the request is complex, this period may be extended by two further months, and we will let you know within the first month. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

To protect your data, we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.

Complaints to the supervisory authority

If you believe we have infringed your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP):
